One of our direct client is urgently looking for a Product Manager, Accessibility Quality & Testing @ San Bruno, CA

TITLE: Product Manager, Accessibility Quality & Testing LOCATION: San Bruno, CA Duration: 6 to 12+ months Rate: DOE

Product Manager, Accessibility Quality & Testing

This individual will be responsible for accessibility quality assurance for key strategic initiatives within the product team. He / she will perform automated and manual testing to ensure our native and web experiences are accessible for customers with disabilities, and conform to WCAG standards.

This individual will test experiences, file tickets that clearly explain the issue, define the requirements and recommendations for the solve and work with x-functional partners to ensure the bugs are fixed and validated in a timely manner.

Looking for an experienced accessibility tester / QE with previous experience in native and web testing to WCAG 2.1 AA standards.

• Individual will test using screen readers, keyboard navigation, and other assistive technology features including captioning, zoom and contrast.
• Candidate will document bugs, to WCAG 2.1 AA standards, with video clips and written documentation, and provide a clear path to remediation.
• Must have strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with developers to ensure timely, quality solves are implemented.

Must be proficient in assistive technology, and platforms.

• Versed in Talkback and Voice Over for Android and IOS.
• JAWS and NVDA screen readers for PC and Voice Over for Mac
• ZoomText / magnification features
• Multimedia requirements, such as captioning and audio description
• Ability to test using keyboard navigation
