Job summary

The ideal candidate excels in analytics, product development, and collaboration with stakeholders across teams to drive data-driven decision making. This onsite position is based in New York City with a 6-month duration.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in data or software engineering.
• Strong in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on with AWS (EMR, EC2, S3) or similar.
• Experience with Postgres or Snowflake.
• GitLab/GitHub, Docker, Apache Airflow.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and adaptability.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data-driven applications and analytics solutions to solve complex business problems.
• Own and evolve analytical systems, ensuring alignment with business needs and integration with existing processes.
• Write and optimize SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and automation.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Application Engineering, and Decision Science teams on end-to-end solution delivery.
• Build and maintain cloud-based data applications (AWS preferred).
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to identify opportunities, improve systems, and automate workflows.

• Familiarity with Machine Learning and advanced analytics methods.
• Experience building data roadmaps and process automation.
• Understanding of Media Ad Sales and Nielsen audience data.
