Product Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Product Manager to manage product/service lines for federal agency clients. This role involves assessing needs, developing specifications, and overseeing product/services throughout their lifecycle, including marketing, training, and business plan management. The Product Manager will be responsible for the lifecycle of IT Platform services supporting Application Developers within a managed private cloud environment. This position is primarily remote with occasional travel as required.

Responsibilities

1. Create a vision for the product/service that delivers value to the customer and the business.
2. Collaborate with client stakeholders, including IT leadership and end users, to understand their needs, goals, and technical requirements.
3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless technology transitions.
4. Define and document transition processes, SOPs, and best practices.
5. Provide technical guidance to ensure alignment with industry standards and security protocols.
6. Set clear goals and work towards them.
7. Assess the value of features and initiatives, and develop coherent strategies.
8. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
9. Stay informed on industry trends and federal regulations.
10. Gather feedback and conduct research on the product.
11. Product/Service managers should possess skills in prioritization, road mapping, data analysis, communication, technical expertise, leadership, attention to detail, and problem-solving.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proven track record in delivering IT services.
• Experience with Microsoft tools.
• Ability to provide on-site support during critical transition phases.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Technical aptitude and business acumen.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain/maintain Agency Clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience supporting federal agencies and understanding their unique needs.
• Experience developing IT service solutions.
