About The Role
We are seeking a driven Product Manager to develop new communication features on Niche, enhancing the experience for our student users researching colleges and our educational institution partners. You will lead the development of innovative features that improve user experience while driving high-quality leads and revenue growth. Your responsibilities include improving communication between students and schools through experimentation and testing, owning a backlog of hypotheses, leveraging user research, data analysis, and iterative development to validate opportunities, and developing features that enhance discovery and engagement. You will work closely with engineering and design teams, lead product development efforts, analyze user behavior data, and communicate insights to stakeholders.

What You Will Do

• Learn about Niche and our communication tools through onboarding and team meetings.
• Assume the role of Product Owner, managing a product backlog, conducting discovery work, and analyzing key metrics.
• Develop and prioritize features that serve both student users and school partners.
• Own the product strategy, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and communicate findings and progress.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of relevant experience as a product manager.
• Proven success in shipping successful products.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and making data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills and experience in user research.
• Proficiency with SQL (Snowflake experience is a plus) and familiarity with Jira.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Compensation

Base salary range: $100,800-$125,100, plus bonuses and stock options, commensurate with experience.
