Summary

The Product Manager is responsible for supporting the direction, delivery, and ongoing success of assigned Naviam products. This role manages the product roadmap, backlog, requirements, release priorities, and cross-functional coordination for approximately two to three products, ensuring that product execution aligns with company strategy, customer needs, delivery realities, quality expectations, and engineering capacity. The Product Manager serves as a key collaboration point between Product, Engineering, Delivery, Quality Assurance, Customer Solutions, Sales, Support, and other stakeholders. This role translates business goals, customer feedback, implementation learnings, and market insights into clear product requirements and actionable development priorities. While overall commercial and product strategy is led by senior product leadership, the Product Manager may provide input based on customer discovery, delivery feedback, product usage, and market observations. Success in this role requires strong communication, practical decision-making, attention to detail, and the ability to balance customer needs, technical feasibility, delivery timelines, testing readiness, and product quality in a B2B enterprise software environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the roadmap, backlog, priorities, and product direction for assigned products, typically overseeing two to three products.
  • Define, document, and communicate product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, release priorities, and product decisions.
  • Serve as a primary collaboration point between Product, Engineering, Delivery, Quality Assurance, Customer Solutions, Sales, Support, and other stakeholder teams.
  • Work closely with engineering teams during planning, refinement, sprint execution, review, and release activities to support clear prioritization and successful delivery.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance on testing scope, test planning, feature validation, defect review, regression considerations, and release readiness.
  • Help ensure new features and product changes are clearly defined, testable, and aligned with expected functionality before release.
  • Partner with delivery, implementation, customer solutions, support, and customer-facing teams to gather feedback, identify recurring needs, and ensure product improvements address real-world enterprise use cases.
  • Participate in customer, prospect, partner, and internal stakeholder conversations, including sales and delivery discovery calls, to understand needs, explain product direction, and gather feedback for future planning.
  • Prioritize product work based on customer value, business impact, delivery effort, technical considerations, quality, testing needs, and strategic alignment.
  • Support release planning by helping define release scope, communicate planned functionality, review readiness, coordinate stakeholder awareness, and identify unresolved risks or dependencies.
  • Maintain product documentation, including product requirements, feature definitions, internal enablement materials, release notes, testing coordination notes, and related product communication.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, delivery, and QA stakeholders to ensure features are usable, technically sound, practical to implement, and sufficiently validated.
  • Help identify opportunities for product improvement, operational efficiency, product integration, and better alignment across Naviam’s enterprise software offerings.
  • Monitor customer, market, and technology trends relevant to assigned products and use those insights to inform product recommendations and prioritization discussions.
  • Support Agile and Scrum-based practices, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, prioritization, review, retrospective activities, and ongoing coordination with delivery teams as appropriate.
  • Use product management and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira or similar platforms, Figma, and Microsoft 365 tools to manage requirements, communicate priorities, and support product delivery.
  • Communicate product priorities, tradeoffs, decisions, dependencies, risks, and timelines clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Product Management, Technology, or a related business or technology field required.
