A leading consulting firm seeks a Product Manager to lead the development of a micro-credential platform. The role involves overseeing product planning, collaborating with key stakeholders, and delivering innovative solutions in the EdTech space. Ideal candidates will have a robust background in product management, strong communication skills, and an ability to thrive in a startup environment.
Position Title: Product Manager (Micro-Credential & Badges)
Location: Singapore preferred / Remote possible
Report to: Co-Founders
Key Responsibilities
• Own product planning and roadmap for the micro-credential platform, focusing on accreditation and badges functionality
• Work closely with co-founders and TESDA to understand user needs and translate them into clear requirements
• Draft detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRD), user stories, and process flow diagrams
• Define user journeys for:
• Accreditation processes (application, review, approval, issuance)
• Badge creation, issuance, and verification
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure user-friendly interfaces and workflows
• Coordinate with blockchain engineers to implement technical solutions for digital credentials and badges
• Prioritize feature backlog based on business value and technical feasibility
• Prepare product demos, proposals, and documentation for government clients
• Analyze feedback from TESDA or other users and iterate product features
• Stay updated on trends in digital credentials, Open Badges standards, and EdTech solutions
Requirements
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in SaaS, EdTech, or government technology projects
• Strong skills in writing PRDs, user stories, and defining business workflows
• Ability to translate non-technical stakeholder requirements into technical specifications
• Experience collaborating with designers and developers in agile environments
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
• Familiarity with digital credentialing standards (e.g. Open Badges, W3C Verifiable Credentials) is a strong plus
• Blockchain knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working in a startup environment with evolving requirements
