Schedule: Full Time, Hybrid, approximately 3 days onsite per week
Compensation: Approximately $130,000 annually
Client Profile
Our client is a global technology services organization seeking an experienced Product Manager to support a long term engagement within the travel industry. This individual will help lead product initiatives, improve business processes, and partner with technical and business teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed user stories that can be completed within individual sprints.
- Elaborate epics and features while creating and maintaining the product backlog.
- Support user and application testing and coordinate product release activities.
- Partner with engineering, Scrum, UX, and business teams throughout product development.
- Participate in feature reviews, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and product demonstrations.
- Serve as the voice of the customer when communicating product value and prioritization decisions.
- Coordinate new and changed functionality with impacted business groups to support successful rollouts.
- Analyze transactional data, usage statistics, customer research, and other available information to guide product decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors in the design, delivery, and support of software and hardware products.
- Provide ongoing support for the product portfolio, including user inquiries, feedback, and product communications.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and provide updates on product delivery and roadmap progress.
What You’ll Bring
- 2 or more years of Product Management, Product Ownership, or closely related experience.
- Strong product ownership experience, including user stories, epics, features, backlog management, and prioritization.
- Experience with IMAGE Reservations and Sabre systems.
- Airline or broader travel industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience developing and implementing process flow charts.
- Experience facilitating meetings with users and business stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and product management methodologies.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Must currently be located in the Seattle area and able to work onsite approximately three days per week.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
