Job summary

Cardless is seeking a founding Product Manager in San Francisco to shape the next generation of credit products for consumers and brands. You will build delightful user experiences on a strong financial product foundation while coordinating across disciplines and stakeholders.

You will own multiple complex projects, drive development from concept to launch, and rapidly iterate based on customer feedback. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on delivery in a fast-paced fintech

Qualifications

  • 4+ years product management experience in fintech, with a track record of building successful products.
  • Comfortable in high-stakes discussions with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Interdisciplinary curiosity and effective communication.

  • Support roadmap, sprint planning, and long-term product vision.

Responsibilities
  • As a founding Product Manager, you will help us further our mission to make credit better, by powering the next generation of credit cards. This means building a delightful experience for consumers, and powerful engagement and marketing tools for brands (all on a solid financial product foundation). You’ll get to work across different problem areas and across disciplines as you advocate for our
  • Take a nascent, simple‑sounding project, flesh it out, and push it through the exhilarating and excruciating process of development and launch
  • Move from uninformed simplicity, to informed complexity, and ultimately to informed simplicity. Rinse and repeat
  • Own 2–3 complex projects at a time, each at different stages. Your success will hinge on delivering quickly and at high quality
  • Celebrate the little wins too – we get customer feedback every day and deploy multiple times a week
  • Support our roadmap, sprint planning, and long‑term vision
Qualifications
  • Attention to detail and the ability to think through problems at a deep level, balancing discipline with the need to move fast.
  • Preferred: 4+ years product management experience in fintech, with a track record of building successful products and familiarity with B2B or platform companies.
  • Comfortable in high‑stakes discussions with a wide range of stakeholders, prepared with a positive attitude.
  • Interdisciplinary curiosity: willingness to dive into a variety of topics and communicate humbly and effectively.
