About The Role
The role owns the strategy, roadmap, and execution for a core product area within a B2B SaaS platform - translating business goals into shipped features that engineering teams can build and customers actually use.
You will operate as the connective tissue between engineering, design, data science, and go-to-market teams, making the hard prioritization calls where user impact, technical feasibility, and revenue all collide.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap for your area - define quarterly objectives, sequence major initiatives, and make explicit tradeoff decisions on what ships and what waits
- Write clear PRDs and technical specs covering user stories, success metrics, edge cases, and API/data requirements that engineers can execute without ambiguity
- Partner with engineering leads on scoping and architecture reviews; understand system constraints deeply enough to challenge and refine technical proposals
- Drive product discovery through customer interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis; validate assumptions with prototypes before committing engineering resources
- Define and monitor product KPIs using SQL, Amplitude, or Looker; run structured A/B tests and translate results into roadmap adjustments
- Coordinate launches end-to-end with marketing, sales, and customer success teams, including positioning, enablement materials, and rollout plans
- Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to executive stakeholders in written updates and quarterly business reviews
What We Are Looking For
- 3-6 years of product management experience, including at least 2 years owning a product area end-to-end in a SaaS or platform environment
- Demonstrated track record of shipping features or products from discovery through launch, with measurable business impact you can speak to in detail
- Strong technical fluency: ability to discuss APIs, data models, system architecture, and tradeoffs credibly with engineers
- Hands-on analytical skills - comfortable writing SQL queries and interpreting experimentation results independently
- Excellent written communication; experience producing PRDs, strategy memos, and stakeholder updates that hold up to scrutiny
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: prior experience as a technical PM or software engineer; experience with data platforms, developer tools, or API-first products; MBA or relevant graduate degree
