Job summary

Arca, a wealth management firm built with AI, is hiring a Product Manager to own end-to-end product areas for advisors and clients. You’ll sit with advisors, operators, and clients, translate what you learn into clear priorities, and work with engineering and design to ship, measure, and iterate fast.

You’ll work directly with the founder and Head of Product, own the roadmap, and mentor junior PMs as the team grows. This is a hands-on, in-office role based in NYC.

Responsibilities

  • Own product areas end to end across both sides of the business: the platform our advisors work in every day, and the client experience clients use to see and manage their wealth.
  • Turn learnings from advisors, operators, and clients into clear priorities, and collaborate with engineering and design to ship, measure, and iterate fast.
  • Work directly with the founder and the engineering team, and partner closely with the Head of Product; if you ship it, you own it.
  • Advisor and operations workflows: rebuild meeting prep, onboarding, and compliance work so one advisor can serve more clients without losing quality.
  • The client experience: define what clients see, how they engage with their advisor, and how the wealth picture is presented.
  • Agent-first features: shape how agents interact with the product, including sign-offs and traceability.
  • Specs, priorities, and measurement: define clear problem statements, tighten scope, and track success metrics.
  • How we build: contribute to a lightweight product process and mentor newer PMs.

Job description

About Arca

Arca is a wealth management firm built from the ground up with AI. Most people get financial advice that's reactive: an annual check-in, a plan that's a document instead of a living thing, a relationship where you're one of three hundred clients your advisor is trying to remember. We think that's backwards. The kind of service that used to require a team of specialists behind you, the kind that makes you feel like the only person in the room, should be available to far more than the ultra-wealthy.

So we're building it. We're not SaaS - we are the wealth management business, rebuilding it from the inside with AI. Our platform is an Iron Man suit for advisors: it takes over the low-leverage work so they can focus on what actually requires a human, showing up with empathy, context, and judgment. Underneath, it keeps a living understanding of each client. It remembers the thing you mentioned once, six months ago. It notices when your life changes - a new job, a new kid, a market shift - and adjusts before you think to ask. You won't see the technology. You'll just notice your advisor seems to know you better than any financial professional ever has.

That's the product we're growing: client by client, on the strength of the experience itself. We started by acquiring firms managing over $1B in client assets, which gave us real advisors, real clients, and real financial outcomes to build against from day one. But acquisition was the starting line. The bet is that an advisor backed by this platform delivers something good enough that clients come to us on their own.

It's a $20T market, and we think it's ready to be rebuilt.

The receipts
  • Stage: Series A, $64M raised

  • Backed by: General Catalyst, Index Ventures, Venrock

  • Board & Advisors: Former CEO of Vanguard, Former CFO of Schwab, Founder of Altruist, Morgan Housel (author of The Psychology of Money)

The team

We're small on purpose and engineering heavy: about 80% of the team is technical. We're based in NYC and hail from high growth startups like Stripe, Ramp, Rippling, Plaid, Doordash, & Glean.

We're fully in-office in Flatiron, five days a week- lunch together, coffee breaks, basketball games, happy hours.

The role

As a Product Manager, you'll own product areas end to end across both sides of the business: the platform our advisors work in every day, and the experience clients use to see and manage their wealth. This is a hands-on role. You'll sit with advisors, operators, and clients, turn what you learn into clear priorities, and work side by side with engineering and design to ship, measure, and iterate fast. You'll work directly with the founder and the engineering team, and partner closely with the Head of Product we're hiring. If you ship it, you own it.

What you'll own
  • Advisor and operations workflows. The meeting prep, follow-up, onboarding, and compliance work that fills an advisor's day, rebuilt so agents carry the load and one advisor can serve far more clients without the experience slipping.

  • The client experience. Where clients see their goals, their portfolio, and their full financial picture, and engage with their advisor on their own terms. We've never built directly for consumers until now, so you'll help define what that experience is.

  • Agent-first features. Working with engineers on how agents act inside the product: what they do on their own, where an advisor signs off, and how everyone can trust what happened.

  • Specs, priorities, and measurement. Clear problem definitions, tight scoping, and the metrics that tell us whether what we shipped worked.

  • How we build. Helping shape a lightweight product process as the team grows, and mentoring newer PMs along the way.

Example problems you'd work on

These aren't hypothetical; we're actively working on versions of all of these.

  • What a client sees first. Clients want to know whether they're on track. The first version of the client experience has to make goals and progress clear, then give clients the right tools to act on them, while investment decisions stay with the advisor they hired for that expertise. Deciding what the client does directly and what stays with the advisor is the core call.

  • Knowing whether "your whole financial picture" is working. Our promise is that clients feel someone understands everything about their finances. In the first 90 days after launch, how do we know that’s true? Engagement, proactive actions taken, assets consolidated, how often clients push back on their advisor’s recommendations, and what advisors hear in meetings each tell part of the story.

  • Rebuilding an advisor workflow agent-first. Take a workflow like meeting prep or account opening. Instead of adding AI to the existing screens, what does the agent do on its own, where does a human have to sign off, and how does it hold up under compliance review?

  • Shipping across every firm we bring on. Each acquisition brings advisors with different tools and habits. Features have to work for all of them,
