Job summary

Jobtailor in Jersey City is seeking a product manager to help shape the multi-year vision and roadmap for data, analytics, or SaaS offerings. You will convert voice of the customer, sales feedback, and market insights into clear product requirements and enhancements.

You will partner with sales, marketing, and engineering to launch new features, improve profitability, and drive revenue growth while staying commercially focused and customer-centric.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in product management, lifecycle management, or go-to-market roles in data, analytics, or SaaS.
• Strong written and verbal communication for both technical and business audiences.
• Understanding of or exposure to property catastrophe risk, P&C insurance, reinsurance, and broker ecosystems.

• Help prioritize roadmap initiatives to support revenue growth, profitability, and strategic relevance.
• Identify emerging industry and market trends and translate them into clear, commercially viable product requirements and enhancement opportunities.
• Support the development and launch of new products, features, and capabilities, as well as the continuous improvement of existing offerings.
• Act as a product subject‑matter expert (SME) with existing and prospective customers, supporting both sales and relationship management efforts.
• Develop and deliver customer presentations, demos, proofs of concept, and product collateral that clearly articulate product value and use cases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in product management, product lifecycle management, or go-to-market roles, preferably within data, analytics, or SaaS environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with both technical and business audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to translate customer and market insight into practical product outcomes.
• Understanding of, or experience with, property catastrophe risk, P&C insurance, reinsurance, excess & surplus markets, and broker ecosystems strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment with multiple stakeholders.
