Exciting opportunity for a Product Manager/Owner to join a global industry-leading company!

You will be responsible for delivering business value by driving sales growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and improving customer satisfaction through the development of high-quality software products. You will lead the delivery of incremental value by prioritizing & implementing product enhancements. You’ll collaborate closely with Developers, UX Designers, and key business stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.

This role supports critical back-end software applications that power e-commerce order processing and post-purchase experiences across multiple high-visibility e-commerce platforms. After a customer places a product in their cart, the applications you support will drive the functionality behind order confirmation, shipping updates, delivery logistics, and customer service workflows.

This is an 18-month contract (potential to extend or convert to perm).

You can work 100% remotely within the US; there is a preference for candidates in Houston, TX.

Daily Stand-Up's are held at 9:30am CST.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop & prioritize user stories from the ground up based on business & customer needs
Evaluate & prioritize work to maximize business value & impact
Build & maintain a clear, actionable product roadmap
Lead sprint planning sessions to align team efforts with product goals
Conduct backlog grooming to ensure clarity, prioritization, and readiness for development
Participate in daily stand-ups & iteration planning to support team progress & transparency
Clearly communicate product vision, priorities, and updates to the Development team
Align product initiatives with company goals, stakeholder input, and user feedback to drive performance & satisfaction
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, UX, and other teams to deliver value and proactively resolve blockers

REQUIREMENTS:

2-5 years experience as a Product Manager/Owner in a technical software development environment (strong preference for E-commerce industry experience)
Experience writing & prioritizing user stories & acceptance criteria
Product roadmapping & planning experience
Story management tool experience (JIRA, Pivotal Tracker, Miro, or similar)
Experience communicating with and influencing functional / technical team members
Experience with sprint planning, stand-ups, and guiding a team through iterations in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment
Bachelor's Degree
