Job description

We are seeking a person who will serve as both a participatory product leader and a voice of the customer. Work with HR, HR Systems, and Enterprise Technology to understand business requirements, develop/manage product roadmaps, and continue the development of My Performance. Act as the single point of contact for your product.

  • Roadmap Planning: Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap, working closely with product owners and end users to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs.

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product backlog: Create user stories, epics, and features, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap and business goals.

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product owners, software engineers, end users, and customer support, to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful product delivery.

  • Product Development: Oversee the product development lifecycle, including defining requirements, creating user stories, and working closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality products on time.

  • Agile Methodology: Implement and promote Agile best practices to ensure efficient and effective product development processes.

  • Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement.

  • Overall Product Support: Provide comprehensive support for the product, including post-launch maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

  • A track record of driving innovation and delivering cutting-edge solutions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Identify and manage issues and risks, as well as any mitigation and contingency plans

  • Implement existing program-level standards for design, security and controls, user interface and documentation

  • Helps Business Partners understand our Iterative Development approach and focus on delivering a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) through careful and deliberate prioritization.

  • Works with Design Resources (Product Designers internal and/or external) to ensure timely delivery of Designs and Assets of REST APIs to the Development team.

  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, with duties including but not limited to:

  • Roadmap planning, stakeholder management, UI workflow design and development

  • Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into actionable product features.

  • Excellent collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

This role is remote but if you live within 50 miles of Dearborn MI or Palto Alto, CA, you will need to commute up to 4x a week.
