Job summary

Vehlo is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Product Manager to join our team. As a key link between business stakeholders and the development team, you will define and prioritize product requirements, manage the backlog, and ensure successful delivery of high-quality software aligned with our goals.

You’ll translate vision into actionable user stories, collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in sprint planning, and regularly update stakeholders on progress.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner in Agile environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • CSPO or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Experience with Jira, GitHub, Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

  • Define and prioritize product requirements and backlog.
  • Translate vision into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, QA and stakeholders.
  • Communicate roadmap and progress to stakeholders.

As a key link between business stakeholders and the development team, you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing product requirements, managing the product backlog, and ensuring successful delivery of high-quality software that aligns with our strategic goals.What You’ll Do:Product Ownership & Vision:Serve as the voice of the customer and business in the development process.Translate product vision and strategy into actionable user stories and requirements.Define and clearly communicate the product roadmap and priorities to internal teams.Backlog Management:Own and manage the product backlog: prioritize features, bugs, and technical debt.Write detailed and clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows.Collaborate closely with developers, designers, QA, and other stakeholders.Stakeholder Collaboration:Work with business units, sales, marketing, and support teams to gather feedback and define needs.Regularly update stakeholders on progress, timelines, and changes to scope.Delivery & Quality:Participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.Make decisions on scope and prioritization to ensure timely delivery.Ensure the delivered product meets functional and non-functional requirements.Travel Requirement: Approximately 10-15% travel may be required.Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice, in accordance with applicable laws.What You Bring:Required:3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role in an Agile environmentStrong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologiesProven ability to translate business needs into technical requirementsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsPreferred:Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalentExperience with tools like Jira, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similarBackground in software development, UX, or QAExperience working in B2B software environments or the automotive industryExperience using AI to build tools, prototypes, or automations that save time and can be shared across a teamKey Competencies:Strategic thinking with a focus on delivering business valueUser-centric mindsetDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to lead by influence and build strong cross-functional relationshipsData driven and evidence-based decision makingEligible employees may receive:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysCompensation is based on experience, skills, and location and represents a good faith estimate in accordance with applicable laws.Work Environment & Physical Requirements:This role may be performed in a remote, hybrid, or office-based environment depending on business needs.Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periodsAbility to operate a computer and standard office equipment (e.g., keyboard, mouse, headset)Ability to view and interpret information on a computer screen for extended periodsAbility to communicate effectively via phone, video, and written communicationAbility to participate in virtual meetings with or without reasonable accommodationRemote Work Expectations:Maintain a dedicated, safe, and distraction-free workspaceReliable high-speed internet connection sufficient for video conferencing and job-related systemsAbility to maintain productivity in a remote environmentTravel:Ability to travel as needed, including by air, car, or public transportationAdditional Information:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.Employment may be contingent upon a background check in accordance with applicable laws.Note: This job description is intended to outline the general responsibilities and requirements of the role.
