We are seeking an experienced and visionary Product Manager to champion and drive the product development and utilization strategy for our core product, the Electric Guard Dog (EGD).

Job Summary

As the Product Manager you will lead the product’s innovation and strategic efforts for the Electric Guard Dog to include defining and executing long-term strategic roadmaps, product utilization, customer experience, enhancing the product lifecycle development processes to deliver continuous improvements, and uncovering potential failure modes to strengthen the fence.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development and enhancement Leadership

  1. Lead the Electric Guard Dog development roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market demands, and AMAROK’s long-term objectives.
  2. Strengthen fence design by monitoring and analyzing break-ins, addressing vulnerabilities, and implementing improvements to enhance deterrence and security.
  3. Prioritize solutions to improve fence utilization by identifying barriers to customer usage and arming of the system, engaging proactively with customers, and implementing changes that optimize reliability and effectiveness.
  4. Drive increased utilization of customer-facing applications by partnering with internal resources and incorporating feedback into the product enhancement roadmap.
  5. Modernize electric fence systems by focusing on ease of use, utilization, defense strength, and serviceability, delivering measurable improvements in performance and customer satisfaction.
  6. Significantly reduce nuisance alarms by conducting thorough root cause analysis, identifying failure modes, and implementing well-researched, effective solutions.

Customer and Market Focus

  1. Leverage data driven insights to monitor product utilization and effectiveness to improve customer satisfaction.
  2. Lead and participate in customer and internal employees focus groups to gather valuable feedback on product performance, usability, and opportunities for enhancement.
  3. Conduct competitive market research to stay ahead of emerging trends, benchmark against competitors, and ensure AMAROK continues to be the ultimate perimeter security company in NA.
  4. Translate customer insights into actionable product requirements and development priorities to ensure solutions address real-world customer needs.

Design and Technology Innovation

  1. Conduct comprehensive design and cost analysis to ensure proposed solutions meet desired performance, competitive pricing, and scalability as our operations grow.
  2. Collaborate with the research and development team and third-party partners to enhance material and component designs, creating a stronger, more adaptable electric perimeter fence solutions that meet the evolving customer demand for a trusted solution.
  3. Integrate the latest smart technologies, including IoT, AI, and other advanced innovations, to develop a smarter electric fence system that improves monitoring, deterrence, ease of use, and service efficiency.

Reporting, Communication, and Collaboration

  1. Track and report project status, milestones, and potential risks to management to ensure timely decision-making.
  2. Track and report key metrics, including product financials, service performance, and utilization rates.
  3. Develop and maintain clear communication channels with internal teams and strategic external stakeholders, to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the product lifecycle.
  4. Collaborate with Installation and Technician departments to optimize fence designs for ease of installation, maintenance, and long-term performance.
  5. Provide training and support to internal teams (Sales, Service, Technicians, Install, etc.) on new product features and enhancements, to improve adoption and customer satisfaction.

Success Metrics:

  1. Increased adoption and satisfaction of the core solution.
  2. Increase adoption of our customer facing application.
  3. Improved time-to-market for product updates and innovations.
  4. Enhanced revenue growth and profitability for the core solution.
  5. Cost optimization measures.
  6. Clear alignment of product strategy with overall company objectives.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
  2. Minimum (3) years of Product Management experience; experience dealing with National Accounts (fortune 1000).
  3. Ability to create alignment and buy-in to vision through effective communication of strategy, analysis and recommended actions.
  4. Highly developed critical thinking and analytical skills; ability to generate data-driven insights.
  5. A deep understanding of structural design principles and stress analysis.
  6. Ability to travel up to 50%.

Approximate base compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 annually. Compensation is determined based on experience, skillset, travel, and geographical location.
