Our software and services help clubs streamline operations, reduce expenses and accelerate growth – freeing them up from the business of running a club so they can focus on what really matters: kids playing sports!

We are currently seeking a Product Manager to join our Team. The ideal candidate has a passion for youth sports and creating best-in‑class software applications that will be used by thousands of youth sports club administrators, coaches, parents and players.

Role Summary

The Sprocket Sports Product Manager will help shape the strategic direction of key areas of our youth sports management platform and drive the execution of product initiatives. This individual will develop a deep understanding of our customers and their needs, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and prioritize opportunities, and work closely with Design and Engineering to bring thoughtful, intuitive solutions to life.

This role serves as a critical connection point between our customers, business, and technology teams and requires someone who can move comfortably between strategic thinking and detailed execution. We are seeking a creative, curious, and customer‑focused problem solver who can evaluate competing needs, build alignment, and drive products from idea through launch and iteration.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify needs, evaluate opportunities, and prioritize the product roadmap.

Engage directly with customers and internal teams to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities for product improvement.

Partner closely with Design and Engineering to define solutions and drive product initiatives from discovery through development and launch.

Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.

Make thoughtful product recommendations and tradeoffs based on customer impact, business priorities, and technical considerations.

Communicate product priorities, decisions, progress, and launches clearly and consistently across the organization.

Drive the execution and delivery of new platform features and functionality in close partnership with Engineering.

Validate new functionality through testing, customer feedback, and product usage, using those insights to inform future improvements.

Manage and prioritize issues and enhancements related to assigned areas of the platform.

Evaluate competitive products, market trends, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and inform future product direction.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

7+ years of relevant professional experience, including significant experience in software product management.

Experience driving the full product lifecycle from discovery and prioritization through development, launch, and iteration.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Design and Engineering teams to build high-quality software experiences.

Strong product judgment and the ability to balance customer needs, business priorities, and technical considerations.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives in a fast‑moving environment.

Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to analytically support product decisions while taking feedback without ego.

Strong attention to detail, ownership, and accountability.
