Job summary

CFMOTO USA is seeking a Product Manager – Off-Road Vehicles (ORV) to lead lifecycle management and drive future product development in the ORV segment. You will shape the product vision, roadmaps, and market strategies using insights from customers and industry trends.

In this role, you’ll partner with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and engineering to align with corporate objectives and deliver compelling, market-ready ORV offerings. Strong analytical skills and cross-functional leadership are essential.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in engineering or technical field preferred.
  • 5+ years in a product-focused role, preferably Powersports/Auto.
  • Strong analytical skills and VOC-focused mindset.
  • Experienced with Stage-Gate and Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically; some international trips.

Responsibilities

  • Lifecycle management and optimization of the ORV product portfolio from ideation to yearly upgrades.
  • Lead identification and development of future ORV opportunities and roadmaps.
  • Continuously analyze market data and customer feedback to guide product strategy.
  • Ensure alignment of product plans with corporate vision and growth targets.
  • Serve as the ORV expert across internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, engineering, design and suppliers.

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Product Manager – Off-Road Vehicles (ORV) to lead the development and optimization of our ORV product line, both for current and future offerings. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving the long-range product plan and lifecycle management of our ORV products, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, and positioning us for continued success in an evolving market. This position reports to the Senior product manager of ORV.

The ideal candidate will act as both a tactical product owner and a visionary leader, managing current product upgrades and enhancements while focusing on the development of future products that meet the needs of a growing customer base. You will leverage market insights, industry trends, and customer feedback to shape the next generation of ORV products, while also serving as an industry expert for a defined product segment. (SSV, ATV, UTV....).

Key responsibilities include:

Lifecycle Management & Optimization: Oversee the entire lifecycle of our ORV product portfolio, from ideation and development to launch, support, and yearly upgrades. Ensure all products are consistently enhanced and optimized for performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Maintain detailed product specifications database of current company products, as well as competitive products across the industry

Innovation & Future Product Development: Lead the identification and development of new product opportunities, including the conceptualization of future ORV models. Work cross-functionally to define product vision, roadmaps, and timelines for future product releases.

Market & Consumer Insight: Continuously gather and analyze market data, customer feedback, and industry trends to drive the evolution of both existing and future ORV products. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and competitive offerings to maintain our leadership position in the market.

Strategic Alignment: Ensure all product strategies, both current and future, align with the broader corporate vision and growth targets. Collaborate with sales, marketing, R&D, and other teams to create a cohesive product strategy.

Industry Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert for all existing ORV product segments, offering valuable insights to internal teams and stakeholders, while also positioning the company as an authority in the off-road vehicle industry.

Cross-functional alignment. Partners closely with the CFMOTO global business to ensure alignment with the overall product strategy Collaborates with PG&A, Engineering, Design, research, Service, Sales, marketing and or third-party suppliers.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience Required

  • BS/BA, from a four-year college, engineering or technical degree is preferred
  • 5+ years’ previous experience in similar role with a product focused outlook, preferably within the Powersports, Automotive or similar industry.
  • Ability to work independently with strong teamwork & collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical skills, in understanding consumer behavior. A focus on VOC, and able to utilize trend analysis stats to recommend product updates to upper management
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and experienced with Stage-Gate methodology
  • Preferred user of MS BI, for dashboard creation, and visual communication to management
  • Experienced in MS office 365, in using its tools to facilitate group collaboration
  • Strong customer focus and service orientation with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, and vendors at all levels in a cross-cultural setting
  • Domestic travel can be expected up to 20%, with occasional international trips to China or other locations as needed

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of job-related factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, certifications, education, location and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $125,000 to $155,000 annually. Our competitive salaries are just one component to CFMOTO’s total compensation package.
