Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management experience with B2B software.
• Track record of shipping products with engineering teams in an Agile environment.
• Strong written communication, including requirements, specs, and stakeholder updates.
• Enough technical depth to discuss APIs, data models, and architecture trade-offs with engineers.
• Comfort using data (e.g., SQL, Excel, product analytics) to make decisions.
• Experience with backlog tools such as Linear.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and backlog for our valuation and forecasting software, align priorities with business goals.
• Run discovery with banks, lessors, investors, and shipowners: interviews, observations, data analysis.
• Write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead story planning with engineering and design; participate in daily standups.
• Make scope, sequencing, and trade-off decisions; explain them to stakeholders.
• Define success metrics for releases and report on outcomes.
• Coordinate releases with engineering, sales, account management, and support.
• Run the release process for quarterly and interim forecast updates; ensure data reaches clients.
• Turn analyst and client feedback into clear product requirements.
• Keep product documentation and release notes current.

• Run discovery with banks, lessors, investors, and shipowners: interviews, workflow observation, and usage data.
• Write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead story planning with engineering and design, and take part in daily standups.
• Make scope, sequencing, and trade-off decisions, and explain them to stakeholders.
• Define success metrics for releases and report on outcomes.
• Coordinate releases with engineering, sales, account management, and support.
• Run the release process for quarterly and interim forecast updates, so new data reaches every client site and notification reliably.
• Turn analyst and client feedback, such as valuation adjustments by vessel specification, into clear product requirements.
• Keep product documentation and release notes current.

Requirements

• 3+ years of product management experience with B2B software, ideally enterprise or data products.
• A track record of shipping products with engineering teams in an Agile environment.

Education

• Experience in shipping markets, ship finance, or asset valuation.
• Experience with AI-enabled products.

Compensation

• $120,000 - $150,000 per year
• Final compensation based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience
