Job summary

Red Hat is seeking Product Management interns to join us in Raleigh and Boston, working closely with a senior mentor and an international team. You will gain hands-on experience in product development, strategy, and lifecycle management while contributing to real projects.

You will help define requirements, epics, and user stories for upcoming releases and collaborate with engineering to shape software solutions in a fast-paced, open-source environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines and analyze data for data-driven decisions.
• Basic knowledge and willingness to learn Google Workspace, Jira, Slack.
• Passion, curiosity, and desire to create new things and understand internal workings.
• Willingness to learn and proactively collaborate within a larger team.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document input from users, customers, and stakeholders to understand needs and requirements.
• Execute and develop a competitive analysis by researching solutions and documenting strengths/weaknesses.
• Develop and prioritize requirements, epics, and user stories for new releases.
• Collaborate with engineering and other stakeholders to design, develop, and enhance software to solve business problems.
• Network with other interns in a workplace where you can be yourself and thrive.
