Qualifications

  • Student working towards a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Translate VoC/market intelligence into evidence-supported attributes.
  • Analyze market-informed VoC data, Jobs to be Done, and identify trends to enhance offerings.
  • Develop/ demonstrate strong verbal, written, presentation competencies; ensure updates/documentation are aligned.
  • Structure and Evaluate Market Data, Competitive Comparison Data, Take Rates, Options, to inform priorities.
  • Shadow Product Specialist/Managers during meetings and note key takeaways.
  • Learn Consolidating & Analyzing Secondary Market Data and Competitive Data.
  • Consolidate & Analyze Competitive Data.
  • Participate in year-end Intern Expo.

Job Description

As a Product Management Intern with JLG you will have the opportunity to work with some of the most talented and skilled Product Managers and Engineers in the industry. In this role you will work on a variety of key projects and initiatives ranging from simple tasks to more complex analytical projects.

YOUR IMPACT
  • Work with Product Management team in Product Definition Development and help translate VoC/market intelligence into evidence supported attributes.
  • Work with the Product Management team to analyze market informed VoC data, “Jobs to be Done” and identify trends that may enhance offerings.
  • Develop/ Demonstrate strong verbal, written, presentation competencies Ensure system updates/product configurations are completed and aligned with customer facing documentation, update as needed.
  • Structure and Evaluate Market Data, Competitive Comparison Data, Take Rates, Options, to inform project priorities, etc.
  • Shadow Product Specialist/Managers during activities such as meeting setup, meeting minutes, and key takeaways.
  • Learn more about Consolidating & Analyzing Secondary Market Data and Competitive Data.
  • Consolidate & Analyze Competitive Data.
  • Participate in year-end Intern Expo.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Student working towards a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field or other related field.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience or heightened interest in mechanical design.
  • Experience in extracurricular activities outside academic requirements.
  • Knowledge of construction industry and equipment used.
WORKING CONDITIONS

The following represents general working conditions for this office-based role. Specific conditions may vary depending on business needs and individual circumstances. This role is primarily performed in a professional office environment with standard lighting, ventilation, and temperature-controlled settings. Duties are largely sedentary, requiring extended periods of sitting and using a computer and telephone. Visual acuity to operate a computer and read documents is required, along with auditory ability to participate in virtual and in-person meetings. Occasional movement within the office environment is necessary, including walking short distances, standing, or reaching for files. Pay Range: $18.00 - $37.00 The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
