Job description

Under limited supervision, leads development and execution of product/portfolio strategies and plans, taking into account product life cycle stage and the customer experience.

Essential Functions

  • Leads development and implementation of marketing, sales and all other activities, as needed, to achieve the necessary business outcomes. Independently lead needed market, economic and competitive evaluations that affect product performance.
  • Performs fact based data analysis and interpretation to identify critical business insights.
  • Leads completion of needed advanced data models and analytics.
  • Identifies and prioritizes new features, including market analysis, business case development and driving prioritization.
  • Leads and executes complex new product development initiatives across large, cross-functional work teams.
  • Actively coaches others in less senior positions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Under limited supervision, this individual is responsible for serving as Product Manager for Global E-Commerce supporting FICP (FedEx International Connect Plus). Serves as Marketing lead in coordination with regional marketing and Sales. Support Drive requests for FICP and Global EC. This role requires thought leadership and ability collaborate with a cross-functional team. Strong written, communication, and presentation skills are a must.

* Experience managing large high impact projects/programs/relationships that support corporate goals and/or drive revenue growth
* Demonstrated relationship building and strong collaboration and communications skills across multiple audiences, operating companies and organizational levels
* Experience presenting and gaining Sr Management buy-in on portfolio related recommendations and decisions
* Critical thinking, thought leadership
* Knowledge of FedEx databases and strong analytical skills
* Strategy Development


Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in product marketing, economics, business, or related field.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years work experience in functions focused on product management, market analysis or research, or equivalent.

More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. A related Master's Degree equals two (2) years experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Superior knowledge of competitive, market and economic factors affecting product performance and ability to perform fact based data analysis.

Expert communication and presentation skills, quantitative, problem structuring and solving skills.

Superior executive presence, human relations, networking and influencing skills.

Strong project management and project management leadership experience.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: U.S. Pay Range: $7,094.23/month - $12,533.14/month

Additional Details: This position may be located anywhere within the United States excluding Alaska, Hawaii and US territories. Depending on your location, you may be required to work at a FedEx Campus location several times per week.
