Job summary

Renesas is seeking a methodical and business-minded Product Line Business Specialist to join our Memory Interface Division. This role advocates at the product level, driving problem-solving, forecasting, and cross-functional coordination to meet customer demand.

The ideal candidate combines a marketing lens with strong business operations expertise to anticipate supply and demand imbalances up to 18 months in advance and proactively resolve constraints before they impact our customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 10+ years in business management, operations, supply/demand planning, or product line management (semiconductor industry preferred)
• Demonstrated forecasting, supply-demand balancing, and capacity planning experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical, structured approach
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary advocate for assigned products, representing their interests across the organization
• Develop rolling forecasts projecting business and supply positions 18 months into the future
• Lead structured problem-solving efforts to close supply-demand gaps and develop mitigation strategies
• Gather intelligence from key stakeholders across sales, operations, manufacturing, and supply chain and communicate risks and recommendations to leadership
• Partner with operations and supply chain to align capacity and wafer supply with customer needs

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
