Job summary

Applied Materials in Santa Clara, CA seeks a Product Change Management lead to own PCM, approve unreleased changes, and coordinate PCNs with Global Product Support. You will ensure configuration accuracy for customer BOMs, guide engineering on field impact, and drive component roadmaps, obsolescence, and cost reduction.

Intercompany alignment on pricing and spare contents is required, with a focus on post-release changes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Owns product change management (PCM) and control.
• Unreleased product approval and control (ECO).
• PCN (Part Change Notification) implementation with Global Product Support.
• Provides guidance to Engineering and BU about field service impact of part/supplier changes.
• Accuracy of customer shipped configurations and BOMs.
• NSR (Non Standard Request) approval.
• Owns common modules roadmap and implementation post Phase 5 of ePLC.
• Implementation of component roadmaps including obsolescence and cost reduction.
• Facilitates intercompany communication to align on product strategies, pricing, spare level contents, and restricted part orders.
• Implementation of cost reduction roadmap and management of supplier issues.
• Manage all changes to the product after product release.
