We are seeking aProduct Line Manager for our Packaging & Hygiene Services Product Line Management team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team that is sharpening our focus on being a business driven product line organization concentrating on profitability and competitiveness.

The Product Line Manager will be responsible for the Defoamers and Biocides Product Lines for P&HS North America.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, able to analyze and manage complexity across a broad range of product lines as well as handle the technical acumen of the role. He or she will also not be afraid to take ownership of responsibilities, and will have a strong drive to advance forward each product line strategy roadmap which will secure and defend the product line profitability, competitiveness and drive long term growth.

The position is a hybrid work position located in the Atlanta, GA Galleria office and will report to the Director, PLM, P&HS, Americas.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Developing, implementing and executinga strategicproduct line roadmap to support the product line competitiveness and profitability.
  • Both the technical aspect (portfolio management, new product development etc.) and commercial aspect (setting up the pricing guideline, make vs. buy decision making, portfolio profitability management etc.).
  • Working cross functionally with all stakeholders (Manufacturing, Sourcing, PSRA, R&I, Engineering & Technology, SCM and Sales) to drive forward our common business objectives.
  • The following accountabilities:
    • Product line competitiveness and profitability
    • Build Product line strategy & roadmap
    • Product portfolio & lifecycle management
    • Commercial optimization (e.g. pricing, mix management, make/buy decisions)
    • Long-term capacity planning and footprint optimization
    • Fulfillment strategy and product service levels
    • Operative optimization (incl. input to S&OP process, volume allocation)
    • Technical product support
    • Claim handling

What you’ll bring to the Team:

  • University degree in papermaking, chemistry or other applicable field along with strong computing experience
  • Fair technical and commercial understanding
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact across multi-cultural organizations
  • Strong influencing skills, ability to coordinate and drive projects to completion
  • Experience in strategic and analytical thinking
  • Decision making skills, ability to work independetely
  • Fluency in Business English (written and spoken), other languages appreciated
  • Ability to travel globally on occational basis and 15% of the time in NA as needed
