Job summary

onsemi seeks a dynamic Product Line Manager to lead the SiC Power Products Line within the SiC Power Division. You will guide cross-functional teams, manage key customer relationships with Automotive and Industrial/Energy Storage customers, and drive development and delivery of industry-leading SiC solutions.

The ideal candidate has deep power electronics expertise, especially in SiC, and a proven track record of managing complex programs from concept to market launch.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering (EE) or related field preferred; MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years in power electronics, with at least 5 years in leadership managing EV traction, energy storage or related programs.
  • Deep understanding of traction power systems, energy storage, SiC MOSFETs, Si IGBTs, and power modules.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex programs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for senior leadership and external customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strategic mindset.
  • Demonstrated success in managing key accounts and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

Job description

onsemi is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Line Manager to lead and drive the execution of a SiC Power Products Line within a SiC Power Division. This pivotal role will involve leading cross-functional teams, managing key customer relationships with key Automotive and Industrial/Energy Storage customers, and ensuring the successful development and delivery of industry leading SiC solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of power electronics, especially in SiC, and a proven track record in managing complex programs from conception to market launch. As a PLM, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the operation, and growth of the business unit, ensuring its position as a market leader in the industry. This role requires an experienced leader who can drive roadmaps development and execution, lead the operations, deliver financial success, and establish long-term partnerships while navigating the dynamic SiC industry landscape.

Responsibilities
  • Product Definition:lead product definition of intelligent power solutions f, by clearly defining and validating the product value by interacting with end customers (OEMs, Tier1) and internal teams (system architecture team, application engineering, technology development, packaging team, program managers and product and test engineering team).
  • Program Leadership: Lead the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of SiC development programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer requirements, and market trends.
  • Cross-Functional Team Management: Coordinate and collaborate with product management, engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams to deliver high-quality power solutions.
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers and suppliers, managing relationships and driving customer satisfaction through regular updates, issue resolution, and proactive engagement.
  • Product Development: Oversee the development lifecycle of key applications, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform product strategy and innovation.
  • Financial Management: Manage program budgets, forecasts, and P&L responsibilities, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present program status, challenges, and opportunities to senior leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with company goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program efficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
