Job summary

Brunswick Corporation, a global marine leader, is seeking a Finance professional to support Mercury US Engines and MerCruiser. The role covers month-end close, forecasting, and variance analysis, with on-site work in Fond du Lac, WI and a hybrid schedule.

The position reports to the US Engines Finance Manager. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and 3+ years of financial analysis experience are required, along with strong written and verbal communication skills and a track record of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.
• 3 or more years of experience in financial analysis and planning is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations for US Engines and MerCruiser business unit.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual business unit reports for MerCruiser business unit.
• Analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial performance; explain variances and key drivers.
• Coordinate the annual budget preparation for MerCruiser and US Engines cost centers.
• Provide finance support for R&D, Sales, Marketing and Category teams.
• Lead finance aspects of MerCruiser new product teams; develop business cases and analyses.
• Ensure financial statements conform to Brunswick internal controls.
• Provide ad hoc analyses and lead special projects.
