Job description

Product Line Coordinator/Planner-Analyst-Nike Licensed Accessories
Spirit Leatherworks | A Will Leather Goods Company
Reports to: GM/Sr. Director-Nike Licensee

Founded in 1981 by Will Adler, Will Leather Goods is a family-owned business based in Eugene, Oregon. Through our Spirit Leatherworks division, we have held a Nike Accessories license for more than 20 years, designing, manufacturing, and distributing bags, belts, wallets, and personal accessories across Nike NSW, Golf, SB, and Jordan Golf.

We are seeking a highly organized, analytical, and driven Product Line Coordinator/Planner-Analyst to play a central role in managing our Nike Accessories business.

This dual-function position combines hands-on product line coordination with merchandise planning, forecasting, inventory management, and sales analysis. You’ll help move seasonal product from concept through retail launch while using sales and inventory data to identify opportunities, manage risk, and support growth.

The right person understands both sides of the business: what it takes to bring a product to market and what it takes to make that product successful once it gets there.

Who You Are

You’re equally comfortable tracking a product approval, reviewing an assortment, analyzing a sales report, or figuring out why inventory isn’t moving as planned.

You’re organized and detail-oriented, but you also see the larger business picture. You anticipate what needs to happen next, communicate clearly across departments, and know when the numbers are telling you something worth acting on.

You understand how product and numbers belong together.
Product Line Coordination
  • Manage seasonal product line plans, calendars, assortments, and product data across Nike accessory categories.
  • Coordinate product uploads, approvals, and trademark submissions through Nike Brand Comply and Anaqua.
  • Track samples for sales meetings, photography, presentations, and retail launches.
  • Support key account line sheets, pricing, delivery proposals, catalogs, presentations, and marketing collateral.
  • Coordinate seasonal packaging, fixtures, merchandising, and retail launch requirements.
  • Manage costing and margin targets with Finance and Production.
  • Coordinate across Sales, Creative, Product Development, Production, Planning, and Operations to keep seasonal programs on schedule.
  • Analyze sales, inventory, performance, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Monitor performance by style, category, account, and channel.
  • Create and maintain weekly and monthly sales, inventory, and performance reports for senior management.
  • Support sales executives in managing wholesale business against sales goals, including account analysis and meeting preparation.
  • Develop pre-season sales, margin, inventory, and assortment plans aligned with financial goals and seasonal strategies.
  • Forecast demand by category, style, and SKU, adjusting forecasts as sales performance and business needs change.
  • Monitor inventory and recommend reorders, markdowns, and reallocations to maximize sales and minimize inventory risk.
  • Partner with Production, Supply Chain, and Logistics to manage inventory flow from production through customer delivery.
  • Monitor sell-in and sell-through performance to guide future assortments and purchasing decisions.
  • Identify opportunities for product, account, and channel growth within the Nike Accessories business.
  • Present findings and actionable recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in product development, merchandise planning, allocation, financial analysis, or a related role within fashion, accessories, footwear, or sporting goods.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, Finance, Statistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to turn data into clear business recommendations.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, forecasting, and data modeling.
  • Experience with planning platforms such as JDA, SAP, Oracle Retail, or Tableau is a plus.
  • Experience with licensed product management, retail calendars, and global brand standards preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple seasonal deadlines.
  • Understanding of wholesale, e‑commerce, and brick‑and‑mortar retail channels.
  • Knowledge of sport, streetwear, action sports, and/or fashion accessories is a plus.
  • Ability to work extended hours during critical seasonal deadlines and travel up to 15%.
