Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Sustaining Engineer to own released products and manage changes across the lifecycle. This role collaborates with Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Program Management to ensure changes are validated, documented, and implemented without disruption.

Responsibilities include leading ECO/CR processes, evaluating impacts on cost, tooling, and compliance, and maintaining configuration control with supplier coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum of three years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the engineering owner for released production products throughout their lifecycle.
• Evaluate, coordinate, and implement engineering changes affecting released products and processes.
• Manage Change Requests (CRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and their documentation.
• Lead cross-functional reviews of proposed changes with multiple functions.
• Coordinate product validation, testing, and qualification activities related to engineering changes.
• Maintain configuration control and product traceability across the product lifecycle.
