Job summary

MAHLE is seeking a Product Manager in Farmington Hills, MI, to develop and maintain an automotive aftermarket product line. You will manage publication data and support the creation of technical literature, with a focus on Mechatronics segments and OE/aftermarket catalogs.

You will coordinate new product programs, define specifications, and ensure data accuracy across all publications, working with global engineering and vendor teams to drive quality and lifecycle success.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of the Mechatronics segment within automotive aftermarket.
  • Experience outlining product details, sourcing, and new product introductions.
  • Ability to perform competitor catalog research and price analysis.
  • Experience coordinating new product programs and establishing product specifications.
  • Ability to manage data accuracy in publications and maintain content quality.
  • Collaborative liaison with global engineering and product teams.
  • Familiarity with relabels, recalls, and supersessions in product life cycles.
  • Strong communication across vendors and internal teams.

  • Develop and maintain MAHLE’s product line and publication data.
  • Research OE and aftermarket catalogs for new parts and upgrades.
  • Oversee the full product life cycle from conception to recalls and relaunches.
  • Maintain accuracy of application data in all MAHLE publications.
  • Analyze competitor data and market pricing to inform strategy.
  • Coordinate development of new product programs and establish specs.
  • Ensure quality of products and content across sets.
  • Liaise with MAHLE Aftermarket Service Engineering, Germany teams, and vendors.

Your Contribution

Develop and maintain a product line, maintain publication data and support creation of technical literature. Understanding of the automotive aftermarket, professional knowledge in Mechatronics segment.

Your Experience & Contributions
  • Perform research of the OE and aftermarket competitors’ catalogs and components for information regarding new parts additions, and upgrades of existing parts.
  • Responsible for all facets of the product life cycle, to include; Outlining product detail, sourcing, new product introductions, supersessions, consolidations, re-labels and recalls; analyze new products and make recommendations.
  • Responsible for accuracy and completeness of application and product data in all publications.
  • Responsible for competitor analysis, maintaining competitor interchange data, and competitor market price analysis.
  • Coordinate the development of all new product programs.
  • Establish product and material specifications.
  • Responsible for the quality of products and content of sets.
  • Maintain close liaison with MAHLE Aftermarket Service Engineering, MAHLE Aftermarket Product Management – Germany, MAHLE OE engineering at international manufacturing locations and the engineering departments of vendors.
