Product Inventory Specialist (6-month Contract)

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Product Inventory Specialist to support inventory management and logistics operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and a proactive approach to maintaining efficient inventory processes.

What you will do:

• Maintain and optimize inventory operations throughout the full lifecycle, from receipt to final disposition of materials.
• Generate and analyze inventory reports to support cross‑functional teams.
• Identify and implement improvements to inventory tracking and control processes.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper documentation to support stock accuracy.
• Process incoming inventory transactions and collaborate with accounting to resolve discrepancies between receipts and invoices.
• Update and maintain the inventory database, including data entry for received and consumed materials.
• Support inventory-related activities such as material kitting, packing, and labeling.
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage or inconsistencies and coordinate with quality, materials, and accounting for proper resolution and documentation.
• Work with quality team to determine disposition MRB material.

What you have:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control or a related field.
• Working knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices in a warehouse or stockroom environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in data entry and data management, including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
• Exceptional attention to detail, with strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to lift and carry materials up to 25 pounds; experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Experience with Google Sheets and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle).

Salary Range: $40—$40 hourly
