Job summary

inTech Trailers in Nappanee, Indiana, is seeking a SolidWorks-focused engineer to help expand our premium aluminum trailer lineup. You’ll work closely with the engineering and production teams to design components for large assemblies and welded structures.

You will own projects from concept to completion, create shop drawings for custom trailer layouts, and assist with fixtures, jigs, and CNC programming support to improve manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience with SolidWorks for large assemblies and weldments.
• Manufacturing experience with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Explore new ideas and develop products and features that move our products forward.
• Partner with our production team to develop robotic welding fixtures, create miscellaneous jigs, and support CNC programming.
• Take ownership of projects and guide them from the first idea through completion.
• Create and provide shop and assembly drawings for custom trailer layouts as needed.
