Job Description
The Product Innovation Enterprise Architect is a technical leader who bridges the gap between business strategy, technology, and product development, driving innovation and ensuring product solutions and architecture support the company’s product vision.
This role is responsible for initiating and leading product solutions that enhance our core product offerings, improve customer experience, create a competitive edge, and mitigate risks. The focus will be on the new product development lifecycle and product solutions that differentiate Prime’s product lines.
The Architect leads analysis and design tasks to develop product solutions across multiple capabilities, ensuring architecture aligns with standards and improves core products.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Innovation throughout the product development lifecycle to enable innovations and technology adoption that enhance core offerings, ensuring competitiveness, scalability, and sustainability.
- Guide the organization to adopt emerging technologies to improve product capabilities and customer experiences.
- Contribute to creating a competitive edge by integrating innovative products, technologies, and architecture designs into Prime’s value streams.
- Support phases of product development by assessing vendors, evaluating solutions, and defining impactful solutions.
- Drive architecture and technology choices to reduce costs.
- Enhance customer experience with a customer-focused approach.
- Communicate benefits and risks of solutions and architectural changes to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various leaders and teams to ensure alignment and holistic innovation.
- Research and lead the adoption of emerging technology trends.
- Test new products on a smaller scale to manage risks.
- Align product solutions with overall business and product roadmaps.
- Develop and evolve product architecture in support of the roadmap.
- Identify process improvements and enablement investments for scaling new products.
- Analyze the business-IT environment for deficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Mentor and collaborate with technical experts and peers.
- Improve architecture practices and standards.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience; HS diploma or GED required.
- 10+ years in Business Analysis, System Design, Systems Engineering, or architecture, including 5+ years in an Architect role.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Additional Qualifications
- Business analysis and architecture experience including capability modeling, value stream optimization, and process improvement.
- Experience defining architecture patterns and product development.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead architecture teams and initiatives.
- Understanding of multiple domain areas and practical solutions.
- Self-motivated with independent working ability.
- Experience with various solution types, including third-party, legacy, and cloud solutions.
- Experience as a senior architect on enterprise initiatives.
- Experience with enterprise architecture tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NPD processes.
- Knowledge of enterprise and business architecture development.
- Experience with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, PCI).
- Background in pharmacy benefit management or healthcare industry.
- Experience with Agile and scaled frameworks like SAFe or LeSS.
- Knowledge of SDLC and project management.
- Deep knowledge of architectural domains.
- Formal EA training and certifications.
- Modeling enterprise architectures with industry standards.

All employees must comply with security responsibilities, legal, regulatory, and internal policies.
Potential pay ranges from $143,000 to $243,000 based on experience and skills.
