Responsibilities

  • Learn the architecture, functionality, and use cases of Concur or EMRConnect.
  • Participate in product demos and training sessions to understand client‑facing features and backend configuration.
  • Assist in requirements gathering, including data mapping and extract coordination with client teams.
  • Support configuration and testing, including unit and application testing, and help prepare for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Attend and contribute to implementation kickoff meetings, reviewing product questionnaires and future‑state data extracts.
  • Shadow consultants during client meetings and training sessions.
  • Help prepare documentation and training materials for client onboarding.
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders including clients, finance teams, and developers.
  • Participate in internship capstone projects and feedback loops to enhance program impact.

Role Summary

This internship offers a hands‑on experience within Wipfli’s IP Product Group, supporting the implementation of either the Concur or EMRConnect product. Interns will build foundational consulting skills while learning the product lifecycle, implementation processes, and client support strategies.

This role requires a hybrid work arrangement. At Wipfli, hyrbid work is defined as associates regularly working 2‑3 days a week in a Wipfli office or at client sites. The client sites can vary locally, regionally, or nationally depending on the industry alignment. Scheduled meetings at the client and in the office require in‑person attendance.
