Job summary

Checkr is seeking a Product Finance & Strategy Manager to lead financial planning for a portfolio of new and growth products. You will partner with Product, Engineering, GTM, and Analytics to help shape roadmap, pricing, and investment decisions in a fast-paced, AI-enabled environment.

This role is based in Denver, CO or hybrid; you’ll own analyses, deliver data-driven insights, and influence executive decisions while working with a team dedicated to scaling Checkr’s product strategy.

Qualifications

• 6–9+ years of experience in strategic finance, product finance, business operations, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or similar analytical roles.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills across forecasting, scenario analysis, pricing, and investment cases.
• Experience partnering with Product and/or Engineering on roadmap, prioritization, and resource allocation decisions.
• Strong business judgment and executive communication; able to turn ambiguity into clear, decision-ready recommendations.
• High ownership, bias for action, and either experience in, or a desire to, become “AI Native” to improve decision‑making
• An A‑player mindset with a strong bias for action: you raise the bar, move with urgency, stay resilient through ambiguity, and take ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for a portfolio of new and growth products.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, GTM, and Analytics to support roadmap, investment, and operating decisions.
• Evaluate new products, use cases, pricing, and packaging opportunities using financial and strategic frameworks.
• Deliver clear, data‑driven insights on growth, margin, risk, and ROI to inform executive decisions.
• Use AI tools to improve planning speed, analysis quality, reporting workflows, and decision support.
