Job Description Summary:

SAP Production Planning Product Experts are specialists in the SAP Production Planning (PP) module. They provide deep functional and/or technical expertise, responsible for design, development, and maintenance of their module. They gather and clarify business requirements, define stories to streamline execution, and provide technical guidance and support to team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the subject matter expert for SAP Production Planning (PP) projects
• Gather requirements through interviews, process reviews, shadowing, analysis, workshops, site visits, and descriptions
• Evaluate information, reconcile conflicts, identify gaps, decompose information into details, and understand user requests versus true needs
• Communicate and collaborate with customers to analyze needs and deliver artifacts like Process Flows, Design documents, User Stories, and Interface designs
• Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Translate customer business needs into application and operational requirements
• Work with developers and experts to establish technical vision and analyze usability, functionality, and performance trade-offs
• Implement and deploy SAP solutions to meet business goals, maintaining and designing solutions for Production Planning and related components
• Design, document, and implement processes and improvements, initiating activities to increase efficiency
• Work with Product Managers to ensure technical feasibility and sustainability of product features
• Define testing requirements and orchestrate demos and tests

Are you a MATCH?

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent

Required Experience:

• 5+ years implementing SAP, including S/4 HANA
• 5+ years configuring SAP Production Planning solutions, including interfaces with external systems
• 5 years analyzing business and functional requirements
• Experience troubleshooting complex applications
• Experience on medium to large SAP projects
• Knowledge of SAP Warehouse Management (a plus)

• Expert in SAP PP, capable of engaging with business and configuring solutions
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders
• Stakeholder management skills
• Ability to specify requirements, develop migration strategies, and ensure alignment with strategic goals
