Job Description Summary:

SAP Production Planning Product Experts are specialists in the SAP Production Planning (PP) module. They provide deep functional and/or technical expertise, responsible for design, development, and maintenance of their module. They gather and clarify business requirements, define stories, and provide technical guidance and support to team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as subject matter expert for SAP Production Planning (PP) projects.
• Elicit requirements via interviews, process reviews, shadowing, document analysis, workshops, site visits, process descriptions, task & workflow analysis.
• Evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, identify gaps, decompose information, and distinguish user requests from true needs.
• Communicate and collaborate with customers to analyze needs and deliver artifacts like Process Flows, Technical and Solution Designs, User Stories, Use Cases, GUI screens, and interfaces.
• Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Interpret business needs and translate into application and operational requirements.
• Work with developers and SMEs to establish technical vision, analyzing usability, functionality, and performance trade-offs.
• Implement and deploy SAP solutions to meet business goals, including design, maintenance, and deployment for Production Planning and related components.
• Design, document, and implement processes and improvements with process owners and SAP teams, driving continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate on technical feasibility with Product Managers, ensuring features are feasible and sustainable.
• Define testing requirements and orchestrate system demos and tests.

Are you a MATCH?

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years implementing SAP products, including S/4 HANA.
• 5+ years configuring SAP Production Planning (PP) solutions, including interfaces with external systems.
• 5 years analyzing business and functional requirements.
• Experience troubleshooting complex integrated applications.
• Experience in medium to large SAP initiatives.
• Experience with SAP Warehouse Management (WM) is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Expert in SAP Production Planning (PP), capable of engaging with business and configuring solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage senior stakeholders and establish effective communication.
• Specify requirements, develop migration strategies, and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
