Cummins Inc. is offering a 12-month Product Engineering placement in Daventry, UK, commencing Summer 2027. The role requires on-site presence for three days per week and the ability to travel or relocate. You will contribute to engine projects, support problem solving, and engage with the service team on investigations.

The placement is open to students eligible for placement years, with opportunities to design and analyze new engine parts and support ongoing engineering tasks.

Formación

• Pursuing a degree with a 12-month placement year in mechanical, automotive, aeronautical engineering or relevant STEM field.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally; able to work alone or in a team.
• Comfort with an office environment and MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel).

Responsabilidades

• Support active projects to improve engine quality.
• Lead and support product problem solving and change requests for current engine support.
• Collaborate with service team in failure investigations.
• Maintain lead value engineering projects to improve profitability.
• Support new engine projects with general engineering tasks.
• Design and analyze new engine parts when opportunities arise.
