Job summary

SAF-HOLLAND in Muskegon, Michigan is seeking a Product Engineering Manager to lead a team of product & applications engineers and drive lifecycle solutions from concept to launch. You will partner across engineering, manufacturing, quality, product management, and sales to deliver customer-focused improvements and new products.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and mentoring while supporting OEM customers and driving continuous improvement in reliability, quality, and cost.

Qualifications

• Minimum a bachelor''s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years in product or applications engineering.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP/PLM systems such as SAP or Teamcenter.
• Strong project management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of product and applications engineers.
• Drive product improvements, redesigns, and new product launches.

What We\'re Looking For

? Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
? 5+ years of progressive product or applications engineering experience
? Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
? Manufacturing and OEM customer support experience strongly preferred
? Knowledge of product lifecycle management, engineering standards, manufacturing processes, DFMEA, and root cause analysis
? Experience with ERP/PLM systems such as SAP, Teamcenter, or similar platforms
? Strong project management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills
