Job summary

RANDYS Worldwide in Riverside, CA seeks a Product Engineering Drafter & Documentation Specialist to create detailed drawings from 3D models, apply GD&T, and maintain ERP product data. You will contribute to BOMs, install and product instructions, and collaborate across engineering and manufacturing teams.

The role requires precision, strong drafting skills, and experience managing technical data throughout product lifecycle in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2+ years of related drafting, engineering, manufacturing, or technical experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and GD&T.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience entering, maintaining, or managing product and part information within an ERP, MRP, PDM, or similar business system.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed part and assembly drawings from 3D solid models.
• Apply proper Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) practices to engineering drawings.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, manufacturability, and adherence to company standards.
• Create and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs), component relationships, and supporting product information.
• Assist with installation instructions, product instructions, and other technical documentation.
• Work with engineering, product, manufacturing, purchasing, and other departments to resolve drawing or documentation issues.
