Job summary

ITT Inc. in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Product Engineering Intern for Summer 2026. You will work on diaphragm valves and actuator design, gaining hands-on experience in design, testing, and validation.

This full-time internship (May–August 2026) targets juniors/seniors in mechanical, industrial, general, or nuclear engineering, with exposure to Creo, Windchill, FEA, and MS Office, and an opportunity to contribute to proof-of-concept models.

Qualifications

• Current Junior or Senior undergraduate student in mechanical, industrial, general, or nuclear engineering (junior or senior preferred).
• Experience using 3D CAD software (Creo), PLM (Windchill), FEA, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of diaphragm valves focusing on performance and manufacturability.
• Support actuator design projects by contributing to component development.
• Participate in testing and validation activities to ensure valves and actuators meet engineering standards.
• Contribute to engineering design efforts by developing and evaluating proof-of-concept models.

Position Summary

Position: Product Engineering Intern (Summer 2026)

Location: Lancaster, PA

Major: Engineering (Junior or Senior)

Academic Schedule: May – August 2026 (full-time, 40 hours per week, 12-15 week internship)

During your ITT internship, you will conduct various engineering projects in one or more areas of Engineering. Interns will also have exposure to and learn various aspects of Engineering practices in these areas during the course of a twelve to fifteen week experience. Our ITT interns also participate in our summer Career Readiness programming which provides professional development and networking opportunities that will equip you with the skill sets required to successfully transition from college to career.
