Job summary

Eravant is seeking a Product Engineer I (ME-Based) in Torrance, CA to support mechanical design, testing, and sustaining of passive RF/millimeter wave products. You will collaborate with electrical engineering, manufacturing and quality teams to advance prototypes and production transitions.

The role emphasizes design ownership, troubleshooting, and documentation, with a focus on applying SolidWorks, DraftSight, and measurable improvements to product performance.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiar with test equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzers, power meters).
• Knowledge of microwave materials and manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and DraftSight.
• Basic PCB layout tools knowledge.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Support design, testing, and troubleshooting of passive RF/millimeter-wave components with EE support.
• Design, review, and support 40% of product offerings in either discipline.
• Use test equipment and set up for new product testing.
• Perform design reviews.
• Test and document FA prototypes manufacturing procedures.
• Release design documents to CM/DC for control and documentation.
• Provide sustaining engineering support for FA transitions and manufacturing issues.
• Take ownership of products and drive root-cause elimination.
• Manage multiple development projects and communicate progress.
