Job summary

Stevens Industries, Inc. is seeking a Product Engineer to translate customer designs into millwork that can be built accurately and efficiently. You’ll collaborate with engineering and production on custom projects, reviewing drawings and selecting materials to solve shop-floor questions.

If you have strong CAD skills and understand how products are built, you’ll help turn designs into producible solutions while maintaining quality and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Product Design, or a related technical field or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience using CAD software to create detailed drawings and models.
• Experience in product engineering, manufacturing, cabinetry, furniture, construction products, or related field.
• Ability to read drawings, work through technical details, and solve practical production problems.
• Clear communication and willingness to spend time with the people building the product.

Responsibilities

• Review customer drawings and specifications, then develop accurate shop drawings, models, and production information.
• Engineer custom millwork components and assemblies with attention to fit, materials, hardware, appearance, and installation.
• Collaborate with production to ensure designs can be built efficiently and meet quality expectations.
• Resolve design and production questions discovered during fabrication.
• Coordinate with sales, project teams, and production to clarify requirements and keep projects moving.
• Maintain drawings, specifications, and other engineering documentation as designs change.

Stevens Industries is looking for a Product Engineer to help turn customer designs into millwork that can be built accurately and efficiently. You’ll work with our engineering and production teams on custom projects, from reviewing drawings and selecting materials to solving questions that come up on the shop floor.

You do not need a background specifically in millwork. If you have strong CAD skills, understand how products are built, and enjoy working through design and production details, we’d like to hear from you.

Pay and benefits

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
