Job summary

RMB Products in Fountain, CO, seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to design products and tooling for rotational molding, producing CAD-based molds and tooling to meet customer specs. You will drive projects from start to finish, collaborating with Production, Quality, Purchasing, Sales and the customer to ensure on‑time, cost‑effective outcomes.

Qualified candidates have 2–4 years in manufacturing/design, proficiency with SolidWorks, and basic MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ experience in manufacturing/design field.
• Experience using SolidWorks CAD software.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• General knowledge of plastic forming processes such as rotational molding, injection molding, and machining.

Responsibilities

• Design products and tooling for rotational molding to customer specs.
• Develop molds and tooling with CAD and ensure cost efficiency.
• Lead projects from concept through product launch.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Purchasing, Sales and customers.
• Prepare labor and material estimates for tooling activities.
