Job summary

USA Rare Earth LLC is seeking a Product Engineer to work with Application and Manufacturing Engineering to design, develop, and enhance products, processes, and systems aligned with customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities.

You will evaluate objectives, prepare technical specifications, and support the full product lifecycle—from concept through fabrication, assembly, testing, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software and mechanical design principles.
• Experience with prototype development and testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical and functional specifications for mechanical components and assemblies.
• Identify materials, components, and processes to meet design intent and production needs.
• Prepare drawings, instructions, specifications, and engineering reports.
