Job summary

MetaOption LLC on the manufacturing floor seeks a Product Engineer / Mfg. Technician to support production programs and provide engineering guidance to manufacturing and assembly personnel. The role reports to the Site Manager and balances independent work with guidance from senior team members.

The position covers all product life cycle phases from development to production release and mature products, with occasional travel to vendors and customers for NPI discussions and equipment evaluations.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent with 5 years in high-tech manufacturing.
Experience in machining environments with complex assemblies.
Hands-on experience with CAD, design elements, or CNC machining.

Responsibilities

Provide clear production and assembly instructions to operations to maintain efficiency.
Support evaluation and implementation of equipment to meet production needs.
Maintain product integrity and track key metrics.
Provide guidance and resolve issues via emails and processes.
Participate in weekly technical conversations with customers on design/manufacturing changes.
Travel to vendors for equipment exploration and to customers for NPI opportunities.
Work additional hours as needed to support programs.
