This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, and product evolution, balancing technical engineering work with creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement to support products already in the market. You’ll help support and evolve existing product lines while partnering closely with manufacturing, customer service, sales support, supply chain, and engineering teams to solve problems, improve product performance, and help bring new ideas to life.

You won’t just maintain products, you’ll help improve how they perform, how they’re manufactured, and how customers experience them.

Whether responding to product quality challenges, engineering special customer modifications, improving manufacturability, or supporting long‑term product evolution, this role plays an important part in helping Loll continue delivering durable, thoughtful, design‑forward products.

What You’ll Find Here

A collaborative, hands‑on engineering environment where problem solving, continuous improvement, and innovation are highly valued.

This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple areas of the business while helping shape the long‑term success of products already in the market. You’ll partner closely with cross‑functional teams, contribute directly to product evolution and customer solutions, and have the autonomy to help move ideas from concept to execution.

Loll Designs offers a competitive benefits package including, but not limited to:
  • Quarterly profit sharing/bonus opportunities
  • Health insurance (medical/dental/vision) eligible on day one
  • 401(k) with company match plus profit sharing

  • Paid vacation and holidays
  • Wellness support and professional development opportunities

$70,000 – $80,000 annual base salary

$21,750 estimated annual bonus

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Support the ongoing evolution and continuous improvement of legacy product lines
  • Engineer and model special product modifications and one‑off customer solutions while maintaining design intent, manufacturability, safety, and profitability
  • Resolve product challenges related to design, materials, durability, manufacturing, and field performance through practical and cost‑effective engineering solutions
  • Develop CAD models, engineering documentation, and prototype revisions to support product improvements and communication across teams
  • Partner with manufacturing teams to prototype and validate concepts as needed
  • Facilitate testing activities and maintain organized testing documentation, tolerance stack‑ups, and engineering records
  • Help identify opportunities for improved manufacturability, efficiency, and product consistency
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly through visual, verbal, and written formats
  • Stay current on manufacturing technologies, materials, testing standards, and industry best practices
  • Participate in collaborative brainstorming, concept development, and problem‑solving discussions across teams
What Helps You Thrive
  • Strong problem‑solving mindset with the ability to balance technical engineering requirements with practical business needs
  • Self‑starter mentality with the ability to manage projects independently and move work forward proactively
  • Collaborative approach and comfort working cross‑functionally with both technical and non‑technical teams
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively
  • Curiosity and desire to continuously improve products, processes, and customer experience
  • Organized and detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Positive, adaptable, and solutions‑oriented mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent combination of experience, training, and technical capability preferred
  • Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software required
  • Experience with SolidWorks Simulation preferred
