Job summary

Mecka AI is building the data infrastructure layer for robotics and embodied AI. As Product Engineer, Labs, you will build 0-to-1 products for Mecka's Labs team, launching new verticals across robotics, manufacturing, science, reinforcement learning environments and other technical domains.

Work directly with users and product colleagues to understand a problem, ship an initial solution and improve it through use. This is a generalist engineering role across frontend, backend and data.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of engineering experience with shipped products across frontend, backend and data.
• Clear interactive web application development and thoughtful handling of loading states and user input.
• Design APIs and data models; integrate external systems and debug storage problems.
• Turn ambiguous requests into useful first releases; collaborate with users and adjust when evidence changes.
• Adapt quickly, take ownership and communicate clearly with technical and domain experts.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end workflows: UI, services, APIs and data models.
• Work directly with users to observe workflows, gather requirements and ship solutions.
• Connect tools and data: build integrations and handle diverse inputs and boundaries.
• Develop reusable components that balance reuse with current needs.
• Own reliability: test, deploy, monitor and improve performance in production.
• Iterate with product judgment and communicate technical tradeoffs.
