Job summary

Anthropic is seeking product engineers to build internal products at the intersection of engineering, product, and design. You will own outcomes, not just tasks, and work directly with users to understand needs, building abstractions that unlock capabilities for everyone.

You will design, prototype, and ship full-stack features across backend, frontend, and infrastructure, while coordinating with stakeholders to identify high-impact opportunities and improve the user experience over time.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building production software, ideally full-stack.
• Able to operate as a team of one when needed—taking a product from idea to shipped.
• Think in systems and abstractions—the platform behind the feature request.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly design, prototype, and ship full-stack features across backend, frontend, and infrastructure.
• Consult with users and stakeholders to understand workflows and identify high-impact opportunities.
• Spot patterns and reduce them into primitives, platforms, or middleware for multiple use cases.
• Build tools that maximize autonomy and creative freedom for less-technical users.
