Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Whitehall, MI is seeking Product Engineer Interns for the Summer 2027 program.

Interns will work across our campus plants, supporting engineering and manufacturing to drive improvements in quality and delivery through process control and improvement initiatives. The role emphasizes tooling and dimensional yield, with 10–14 weeks of hands-on training, plant tours, seminars, and projects selected to add value.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering from anaccredited institution.
• Minimum completion of Sophomore level coursework by May 2027.
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in engineering in Mechanical, Aerospace or Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering and manufacturing in driving improvements in quality and delivery through process control and improvement initiatives.
• Work across plants in Whitehall, MI with focus on tooling and dimensional yield.
• Support projects and present outcomes to plant managers and mentors.
