Job summary
The Product Engineer will support the planning, designing, developing, costing and production readiness for product enhancements at Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation in Freeport, IL. You will work on design outputs, BOMs, manuals, testing data, and cost analyses to drive successful launches.
With 5–7 years in manufacturing and proficiency in SolidWorks/AutoCAD, you will lead projects, maintain documentation, and ensure product quality and manufacturability while delivering value to
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 5–7 years in product engineering within manufacturing.
- Proficient with SolidWorks/AutoCAD and 3D modeling.
- Experience with Product Data Management systems and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Design and product development from concept to production release.
- Prepare print dimensions, BOMs, manuals, and testing data.
- Lead projects and provide engineering documentation and cost analyses.
- Support new product launches and in-plant production readiness.
- Contribute to design validation, testing, and cost optimization.
